As we waited for paperwork to be processed, Laurence and I wasted no time in buying essential items for our new home. Our shopping adventures turned into amusing stories, each with its own unexpected twist. From finding the perfect sofa in the clearance section to stumbling upon a discounted herringbone floor, it seemed like luck was always on our side. My motto, “Everything always works out for me,” proved true time and again, even when it came to the lamp I’d been eyeing in IKEA, which miraculously went on sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
